The role of our Senior Account Manager

Our Senior Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day relationship of selected client relationships, managing all projects from initiation to completion.

 

The Bread & Butter of being our Senior Account Manager

Relationships

  • Builds trusted relationships with senior and mid level clients alike, ensuring respect is core to each relationship
  • The client’s go-to on the day-to-day
  • Helps guide junior client service team members on the day-to-day, modelling collaborative and supportive behaviours, with an expectation of excellence
  • Fosters tight knit relationships with colleagues, actively listening to and seeking guidance from others while gaining proficiency in interrogating and challenging solutions

Strategy

  • Has a strong understanding of the client’s business and category, and how TPM disciplines can support clients to achieve their goals
  • Develops insightful briefs and facilitates strategy and ideation across all disciplines
  • Seeks opportunities to drive client growth across all disciplines, bringing in the right team at the right time
  • Interrogates solutions to briefs to ensure clients will be presented with solid rationales alongside ideas and recommendations, to facilitate buy-in

Project management

  • Programme / project lead
  • Robust and accurate SOW development, mitigating risk and facilitating management of scope creep 
  • Creates project plans ensuring accuracy against SOW and viability to deliver (in conjunction with ops)
  • Actively negotiates with team members to find solutions to resourcing challenges
  • Seeks creative solutions to delivery challenges and works with senior team members to resolve and mitigate impact to client and business

Commercial management

  • Supports senior team in developing client business plans and executing against these
  • Ensures all projects are correctly forecast, including accurate projection of revenue by month
  • Tracks and flags any shifts in revenue throughout project progression
  • Ensures minimum 90% recovery rate is delivered across all projects
