Ahead of the Australian spring/summer season, Australian fashion brands search for picturesque locations to shoot content for their latest collections. Ther was an opportunity for Club Med to collaborate with an Australian fashion brand to capture content of their new collections at one of Club Med’s tropical resorts. This would not only showcased Club Med as a premium resort destination but also allow the fashion brand to infuse the allure of wanderlust into its imagery.
Two Palms secured a contra partnership with one of Australia’s most well-known online fashion brands, The Iconic. This collaboration allowed them to journey to Club Med Bali, where they captured social and website content that showcased and launched the latest collections from Aere and Lover.
As part of the agreement, Two Palms negotiated the inclusion of 5 top-tier influencers free-of-charge. In exchange for amplification across The Iconic website and social media channels, Club Med provided return economy flights and accommodation. Both parties collaborated to develop a bespoke famil itinerary was developed to showcase the breadth of premium resort facilities including activities such as yoga and paddle boarding, spa offering, quiet Zen Pool reserved for adults only, Kids Club and cultural excursions.
Two Palms staff and five influencers aligned with The Iconic travelled to Club Med Bali in September 2022. Club Med Bali was selected due to appeal to Australian Millennials and families, seasonality alignment to capture summer content and proximity to Australia and ease of travelling post-pandemic.
The premium content was published in late September ahead of school holidays (28 September) to drive last minute and Christmas holiday bookings. The content amplified on The Iconic website and socials, Club Med website and socials and influencer channels.
